I’ve had some of the essays and scripts I’ve written up on my writing page for some time. Unfortunately, I’ve been too lazy to transfer the documents from their Word format and make them into actual blog posts. Until today!

I haven’t transfered all of them because it is a tedious process to format things properly and link up the citations (I know I can get some plugin, but this really doesn’t warrant it.) I started with my four essays on Mulholland Drive from one of my film classes in college. The idea was that everyone chose a movie at the beginning of the semester and then wrote four essays on that film throughout the course as certain topics were covered. These are my four.

I honestly haven’t read these since I wrote them except for the bits I caught during the transfer process. It’s very possible that these are kinds of pompous, uninformed and pretentious allegories about David Lynch and film in general that get one “banned” from the “internet”. Enjoy!

Ticket in hand, I will be attending what is sure to be a madhouse of epic proportions: the Downtown Chicago Victory/Concession Obama Rally. I was randomly inspired to make some HARD-HITTING POLITICAL SATIRE this morning in the form of fake bumper stickers. The first has to do with last night’s second presidential debate.

And the second is in reference to Joss Whedon’s amazing master-work.

I like hyperbole. We will tell our children of this night.
